It’s Spring! Wake up the mind and body with acupuncture.
The changes in season place additional demands on the body, that can make us more susceptible to change, and perhaps cause us to have difficulty in adapting to change. Traditional Chinese medicine recognises this and uses acupuncture to help smooth this transition. The spring is just such a time of change, with the transition from the short days and cold temperatures of winter to the lighter evenings and warmth of spring. Spring is the season of year associated with new growth and rejuvenation and the instigation of new plans and ideas. A seasonal treatment with acupuncture can also be part of this regime, because it can help the body and mind to ‘wake-up’and help replenish the body’s vital energy or qi.
